Perrin & Fils Gigondas La Gille, 2008
This ruby coloured wine is made with 80% grenache and 20% syrah. It has an interesting cherry and strawberry jam nose with a tinge of mineral and earth. Medium bodied. Tastes quite clean and floral with firm tannins. Pretty feminine with a touch of spice. Still young and needs a few more years of aging. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of grenache :-(
